Canyon Catering is looking for experienced capable event staff. Inexperienced staff with a can-do attitude is also considered.

Special Event Bartenders

You need at least one year of experience behind a bar preferable in off premise catering. Craft cocktail experience is a plus.

Must be able to:

  • Set up and maintain a free-standing bar.
  • Handle large guest volume and a variety of drink orders.
  • Cross-trained and willing to perform food service as a backup

Responsible for all on-site staff management and execution of events.

Must have: a thorough understanding of four-star level service events.

2+ years of experience as an event Captain-lead in off premise catering.

Responsible for all pre-event set up, the actual event and post-event breakdown.

ability to lead a group of servers and bartenders in an organized and professional manner to create a wow experience for the guests!

Experienced in Formal Sit Down, Buffets and Action Station style menus.

Be detail oriented.

A Corporate Sales Manager must maintain a high level of daily selling activities; including personal visits, prospect calling, networking and lead generation, ensuring the Corporate Sales Manager consistently meets and exceeds their sales goals and objectives.

This position requires and overall understanding of the catering industry. This individual should possess great people skills and the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients. The Catering Sales Manager should have a passion to connect with the needs of their client’s company and build mutually productive and on-going relationships.

Junior Event Coordinator will assist the Senior Event Manager to organize and execute special events such as corporate receptions, weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries and any special affair our clients desire.

Junior Event Coordinator

Junior Event Coordinators assume various responsibilities depending on the Senior Event Coordinators requests. They may be required to accompany the Senior Event Coordinator at meetings with clients to determine the type of party they would like to host and the amount of money they wish to spend. Junior Event Coordinators will assist the Sales Managers by scheduling in-house meetings and tastings. The Junior Event Coordinator will assist the Event Sales Manager with clerical duties within Caterease and any other Special Event Software. The Junior Event Coordinator may be asked to assist the Senior Event Coordinator in placing orders for rentals or special items needed to execute the clients event.

Junior Event Coordinator will assist the Senior Event Coordinators with the responsibilities for planning an epic party, from entering the menu proposals to booking vendors. Canyon Catering Junior Event Coordinator should be great multi-taskers with a passion for creativity.

Kitchen Staff

If you a have a passion for food; preparation, presentation, and taste with a minimum of one years’ experience in Sautéing, Grilling, Blanching, Roasting, Vegetable & Salad Prep, or are currently enrolled in a culinary arts program is a good start.

You will need excellent knife skills, plus possess a fine-tuned attention to detail. Be able to follow direction and work independently some times and be a serious team player like NASCAR Pit Crew at others.
